AI subprocessors
Model providers, inference platforms and AI tooling that process prompts, files or other customer data. Buyers look for these first on an AI product's subprocessor list, and most ask whether the provider trains on what it receives.
These 86 vendors appear on real companies' published subprocessor lists, with the purpose they were listed for.
Listing one on your own subprocessor list
Give the vendor's legal name, a short purpose such as"Large language model API for in-product AI features", and where it processes your customers' data. Check the vendor's own DPA or subprocessor page for the region you use.

What buyers ask about an AI subprocessor
Listing the vendor is the start. These are the follow-up questions a security or privacy reviewer usually sends next.
Does the provider train on our data?
The first thing a buyer asks. Most model APIs sold to businesses say they don't train on API inputs by default, but the terms differ by product and plan. State what your agreement with each provider says, not what the provider's marketing page implies.
How long does the provider keep prompts and outputs?
Many providers keep API traffic for a limited period for abuse monitoring, and some offer zero-retention arrangements on request. Buyers want the period in writing, so check the provider's data processing terms for the one that applies to you.
Where is the data processed?
Region matters for AI vendors as much as for hosting. Some providers let you pin processing to a region, often only on particular plans or through a cloud marketplace. List the region you actually use.
What customer data reaches the model?
Be specific in the purpose column: "summarising support tickets" tells a reviewer far more than "AI features", and lets them judge what personal data could be in a prompt.
An AI trust center puts these answers next to the list: model providers as subprocessors, and controls such as no training on customer data, stated in plain language.
